I been asked on more than one occasion about purchasing ammo. In particular, the question I get the most is, where do I buy ammo online for a reasonable price? I guess a reasonable price would be a price that is similar to Wal-Mart. Heck they've got everything and reasonable prices on ammo, too! Sometimes the department stores and large sporting goods stores don't have the best price, albeit reasonable.

I think one of the best options for concealed carry is inside-the-waistband (IWB). It's can be challenging to say the least in the search for a good functioanl holster. More times than not, the local shops have too many of the cheapo holsters made of stiff non-conforming leather or some sort of nylon that's more like a Velcro wallet than a carry rig. NRA's Personal Protection in the Home

Just completed another firearms instructor course over the weekend. This time it was NRA's Personal Protection in the Home (PPIH). The course goal is: "[To teach] the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense." It was a good overall course to take. It goes beyond the Basic Pistol course and really engages the class on thoughts about PPIH beyond what is typically just thought of as having a gun ready to use should an intruder make a surprise appearance in your castle.

I'm pretty comfortable with the brands of pistols I own. With that comfort often come with the desire to buy more versions of the same brand because you know what your getting or you know what you want. Glock Trigger Upgrades by Zev Technologies

One of the most routine of upgrades for any gun is a drop-in trigger. Since Glock pistols are so common it goes without saying that aftermarket upgrades would be available. Zev Technologies makes a great Fulcrum drop-in trigger for Glocks.  My recent trigger upgrades were in my Glock 19, 23 and 21. Each one was a little different because of caliber and since the fact that the 19 is a Gen4; the 23 is a Gen3; and the 21 is a short frame (SF).
